This school year, 12 HCPS schools participated in the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge, raising an impressive $270,252—an increase of more than $55,000 over last year.

Nearly 3,900 students registered to share heart-healthy messages and raise funds. More than 750 families took part in Finn’s Mission, learning Hands-Only CPR and stroke warning signs.

    Ranked #3 in Maryland and #2 middle school nationally

Additional HCPS schools in Maryland’s Top 20 include Forest Lakes Elementary, Emmorton Elementary, Patterson Mill Middle, and Churchville Elementary.
