Are you a new parent/student to FMS? If so, our annual Cougar Camp will be held on August 21st. Doors will open at 10:15. Please be on the lookout to register. More to follow shortly! Parents, an orientation session will be available to you too so you can help your middle schooler acclimate. We hope to help provide you with a lot of great information to prepare you for what to expect in middle school.
Also, our Open House before school starts is scheduled for August 28th. Don't worry, we have plenty of summer left. Open house is a great way to reconnect with your peers, get your lockers ready, follow your schedule so that the first day is a breeze!

Even in the summer, HCPS employees are hard at work. After severe storms on Monday, June 30, 2025, a large tree was discovered blocking the driveway to Fallston Middle School. The HCPS Facilities team responded quickly the next morning to clear the way and ensure the building remained accessible for 12-month staff. Thank you to our dedicated team for always stepping up when needed!
This summer, HCPS families can take advantage of free Parent Coaching through our partnership with Parent Guidance. The program offers regular sessions with a dedicated coach and expert content created by licensed therapists. Interested parents can get started going to https://cookcenter.info/coaching.
